Hezbollah claims that they do not use civilians for cover or as human shields during warfare. Here is clear evidence that this is not the case. Most clips are night vision footage from the Israeli Air Force. Watch each frame carefully, and pause your screens if needed, as the clips run quickly.

  1. Katusha Rockets launched from central Lebanese village. Note there are two residential apartment buildings on the left-hand side of the frame, next to a long-range rocket launcher Hezbollah has mounted on the truck bed. Short-range rockets can be shot from anywhere, but truck beds are necessary to transport long-range rockets. This is a deliberate placement of a massive weapon in a civilian area by Hezbollah.
  2. Launching rockets from the center of the civilian village, Kfar Khana. Hezbollah is using Kfar Khana, a civilian neighborhood, to launch the rocket. Note how the drivers of the truck beds carrying the rockets escape into a civilian garage for cover after the rocket is launched.
  3. Ammunition hidden in a greenhouse. The Israeli Air Force aircraft strikes the greenhouse after receiving intelligence that munitions were being stored en masse at this location. The presence of massive stored munitions is clear from the force of the munitions detonating from the aircraft fire – yet another way Hezbollah is using civilian areas for cover.
  4. Long-range Katusha rocket launched from Lebanon to Haifa. In the second frame, the Israeli Air Force strikes the rocket launcher (truck bed). A camera is placed on the Air Force’s bomb to show the precise hit of the truck bed used to launch the rocket from Lebanon to Haifa.
  5. Yet another Katusha Rocket Launcher identified in a civilian neighborhood in Lebanon.
  6. Armed Hezbollah gunmen using ambulances as "getaway cars" to fight IDF forces. We often see Israeli forces seemingly target civilian areas. We often do not see footage of what happens before the clips – crucial contextual information. Here, Hezbollah fires a barrage of artillery, and ambulances drive into the frame, picking up gunmen and shuttling them to safety. Hezbollah fighters are regularly using civilian "cover.”
  7. Uncovering Katusha Rockets in the civilian village of Marwahin. Please note the IDF soldiers pulling out Katusha rockets – that were to be used on Israel – from the local mosque.
  8. A "civilian home" in Marwahin, Lebanon, raided by the IDF. It is important to again understand that civilian homes are not what they always appear to be, as shown in this clip. Like many other raided homes, this one held a massive store of Hezbollah weaponry. Please note the close-up of the rocket launcher handle with the Iranian flag and emblem. Most of the weaponry found had Iranian tags.
