The StandWithUs J.D. Fellowship is an exciting new opportunity for Los Angeles-based law students. Select law students will learn how to stand up for Israel using legal tools. The Fellowship combines legal workshops, a mission to Israel, Fellowship projects, and networking. By connecting with Israel through the legal community, law students will become empowered legal advocates for Israel and the Jewish community.
Fellowship Highlights
  • Workshops on relevant legal topics during the fall and spring semesters
  • Five-day legal mission to Israel over spring break
  • Fellowship Project on a legal topic of the Fellow’s choosing
  • Semi-annual professional networking dinners
  • Networking opportunities with Los Angeles lawyers and community leaders, with potential for future employment
  • $1,000 stipend for each Fellow to participate in the Fellowship and develop their project
Fellowship Overview
During the fall and spring semesters, Fellows will attend four evening workshops in the StandWithUs Los Angeles office, where they will hear from legal experts. The seminars will focus on how to use the law to combat anti-Israel activity and empower the pro-Israel community. During this time, Fellows will begin conceptualizing and organizing their Fellowship project.

During spring break, Fellows will participate in a five-day mission to Israel led by the StandWithUs Israel office staff. The mission will provide a combination of visits to historic sites and introduction to relevant legal topics.

The StandWithUs J.D. Fellowship will include semi-annual dinners. Fellows, Fellowship alumni, attorneys and community leaders from a variety of fields and law firms will have the opportunity to network. The final dinner will showcase that year’s Fellowship projects.

Fellows will receive a $1,000 stipend for participating in and completing the StandWithUs J.D. Fellowship.
