At The Hague
In February 2004, StandWithUs sent a group of its members to The Hague, where Israel was put on trial by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) over the legality of the Israeli anti-terrorism security fence under construction at the time. Representatives of the StandWithUs delegation departed on an eight-day trip and appeared outside the courthouse during the week of the proceedings, protesting the inequitable recourse toward only one party in the Middle East conflict. The aim of the trip was to raise awareness for the unjust double standard against Israel applied by the ICJ and to raise awareness for the need for the security fence to prevent terrorists from coming into Israel from Palestinian villages in the West Bank. Besides having a presence at the event, StandWithUs spokespeople gave interviews for television media and print publications from around the world.
