JUST THE BASICS
During the “Ten Days of Gratitude,” Israelis take a moment to appreciate and be thankful for what they have in their lives. Now StandWithUs is bringing that simple, beautiful idea to you on campuses, in high schools, and at community events across North America.
How it all began
“Ten Days of Gratitude” is a unique campaign created by young Israelis.
Every year, between Holocaust Remembrance Day and Independence Day, they set up blackboards on the street in Israel, asking “what are you grateful for?”
Their goal is to encourage Israelis to celebrate Israel‘s existence as a vibrant democracy and home for the Jewish people, while reflecting on the challenges they still face.
Our goal is to encourage you to do the same thing in your own way, by stopping to appreciate what you are grateful for.
STOP. REFLECT. APPRECIATE.
