While some universities announce lofty initiatives that ultimately prove empty, your statement shows a unique commitment to following through and committing to action against antisemitism. It is clear that you are putting the perspectives and experiences of Jewish and Zionist students, alumni, and other vested stakeholders at the forefront of this work. For this, we are grateful and commend you. In light of the multitude of recommendations in your statement, we are eager to continuepartnering together and offeringresources where applicable. StandWithUs has been a national leader in educating about Israel and fighting antisemitism since our inception 20 years ago, and we are singularly positioned to collaborate with your administration on this topic and related issues. Additionally, through the StandWithUs Center for Combating Antisemitism, we can advise on and offer bias awareness programs tailored to a variety of audiences. To echo your statement, the line between speech that is purely political and speech that, while political, is also antisemitic can be a difficult one to delineate—especially for those coming from outside of the Jewish community. We appreciate your continued research and commitment to navigating this nuanced, complex issue. We look forward to hearing more about the rollout of the impactful action items you have identified to fight antisemitism at Tufts and our continued partnership. We believe that Tufts University will emerge as a respected national leader for others to emulate because of such efforts.
