StandWithUs applauds the release of Israeli backpacker Naama Issachar, after her unacceptable detention by the Russian government. Naama was held in multiple Russian prisons for over 8 months, on false charges of attempting to smuggle drugs into the country.
StandWithUs and many others around the world united around a campaign to free Naama. We are grateful that she is back with her family and justice has finally been served.
