Kaleb, a beloved German Shepherd, is separated from his Jewish family and adopted by a German Nazi SS officer who trains him to attack and round-up Jews at a concentration camp. Kaleb and his original master — a young boy named Joshua — are reunited at the camp and the heroic canine helps the Jewish boy escape to partisans in the forest.

At a time when people around the world are looking for stories that inspire, “Shepherd” is a heartfelt film that fits the need. The film is a perfect way to introduce young teens to the Holocaust, while inspiring high school and college students with this important topic.

Please invite family members to view the film with you at a time of your choosing during a 48-hour period between April 25 at 5pm PST and April 27 at 4:30pm PST. And please join us the evening of Wednesday, April 27 for a Q&A with director Lynn Roth (beginning at 5pm PST). We will send you a reminder before the Q&A on April 27.
