StandWithUs Is Participating in #GivingTuesdayNow

Updated: May 4, 2020

May 5, 2020.

#GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020. #GivingTuesdayNow offers a unique opportunity for supporters of StandWithUs to make a donation of any amount and see it doubled by a generous, anonymous donor.

The virus of antisemitism is spreading along with this pandemic, and StandWithUs remains as dedicated as ever to its mission of fighting the oldest hatred and supporting Israel. The pandemic has not changed StandWithUs’ mission or strategy. The organization has, however, developed innovative and effective new ways of meeting its mission without missing a beat.

StandWithUs educators and experts have pivoted to offer the highest-quality educational programming online, directly to their target audiences. As a result, since the beginning of the pandemic, over 100,000 participants have tuned in to educational webinars through StandWithUsConnect, StandWithUs’ new digital, interactive platform, while StandWithUs social media channels have reached over 28 million people.

StandWithUs continues to empower the next generation of leaders with education and inspiration to stand up to antisemitism and educate their peers about Israel. The StandWithUs college campus and high school programs have shifted to engaging, creative online programming and have even held virtual conferences for students. StandWithUs has also offered a free, condensed version of its LINK middle school curriculum for students to learn at home.

Launching a new “report an incident” platform with a feature that offers rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of perpetrators of hate crimes against Jews or their property, the StandWithUs Center for Combating Antisemitism and the StandWithUs Saidoff Legal Department continue to monitor incidents and concerns across the U.S. and around the world as they help students and communities fight antisemitism. Meanwhile, the StandWithUs Research and Strategy Department is creating new, essential educational content and helping students and others battle antisemitism and anti-Israel campaigns.

Both during this pandemic and when the world emerges from it—which everyone prays will happen soon—StandWithUs will be there to fight antisemitism, educate people about Israel, and empower a global network of activists to do the same. Please donate, in whatever way that you can, to keep StandWithUs strong this #GivingTuesdayNow—on May 5, 2020.
