StandWithUs UK is horrified at the terrorist murder of two British-Israeli sisters, Rina Dee, 16, and Maia Dee, 20. They were in a car driven by their mother Lucy Dee who is fighting for her life, a result of terrible injuries caused to her during the shooting attack by Palestinian terrorists.
The terrorists who murdered the sisters deliberately targeted their car, firing 22 rounds in a brutal attack over the weekend of Passover, Easter and Ramadan.
StandWithUs UK Executive Director, Isaac Zarfati said: “We are heartbroken and outraged at the devastation caused to the Dee family. All people of good conscience should condemn this attack, the Palestinian terrorists who perpetrated this murder and Hamas and Palestinian Authority leaders who regularly incite the murder of Jews and Israelis. We call on the UK government as well as all relevant parties to take tougher action against the incitement and funding of Palestinian terrorism, which has claimed the lives of 18 people since the beginning of 2023, including, tragically, three sets of young siblings. Multiple others have been subject to terrible injuries. The Dee family were dear to many here in the UK – Rabbi Leo Dee was Senior Rabbi of Radlett Synagogue, before moving to Israel. Our hearts and prayers are with them, their family and friends. We will remember Rina and Maia and send wishes for a full recovery to Lucy and our love to the entire family at this tremendously difficult time.”
