10 Reasons
to Support StandWithUs

 1

Student Leadership Programs Around the World

Through our student leadership programs, we reach hundreds of thousands of students every single year. While the lion’s share of our work is concentrated in the United States, we work with students throughout Canada, the UK, Brazil, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Australia as well as across Israel. We empower students with the pride, information, and confidence they need to stand tall for Israel and against antisemitism. Our young leaders, and the peers they reach through their work, will be the next generation of proud, engaged Zionist leaders and voters.

Legal Efforts & Center For Combating Antisemitism

StandWithUs is there with legal help for middle school, high school, and university students who are bullied for their Jewish identity, which includes their love and connection to Israel. When a student knows that StandWithUs is behind them, it makes them stronger and better able to deal with the challenging situation. They know they are not alone. We are also there to help faculty and community members. Through our staff and pro bono network of over 250 attorneys, we have already dealt with over 2,000 incidents since we began our legal work.

 3

International Network

Through StandWithUs, teens and young adults don’t feel like they are “the only ones” who love Israel, are concerned about antisemitism, and are willing to stand tall. They have an international network of their peers who care about Israel and will stand up against antisemitism, and knowing this makes them stronger. When we began the organization over 20 years ago, this was not the case.

Middle School Curriculum

Jewish children, at 11, 12, and 13 years old, do not necessarily feel connected to Israel. Our curriculum, IsraelLINK, is now in hundreds of schools, training hundreds of teachers to inspire thousands of young students to feel that connection.

 5

Holocaust Education In The Classroom

StandWithUs is now bringing Holocaust education into the classroom for Jewish and non-Jewish students. Research has shown that the level of information about the Holocaust is so low that most young people cannot name even one of the over 40,000 concentration camps and ghettos used to murder Jews during World War II.

Digital
Media

Social media has become a tool for education as well as misinformation about Jews and Israel. Thankfully, StandWithUs’ social media reach has gone through the roof on all of our platforms, reaching millions of people every single week with good, solid information about Israel, Jews, and antisemitism. We are leaders on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms.

 7

Educational Resources

Since our inception, we have distributed millions of booklets on a variety of topics and in different languages. You can find them online at www.standwithus.com/booklet

Rabbis
United

We bring together rabbis of every denomination to educate their synagogues and communities. Through our Rabbis United division, we have hundreds of rabbis registered to receive our educational materials, newsletters, and invitations for conferences.

 9

StandWithUs Is A Nonpartisan Organization

We do not support any candidate; we are neither Democrat nor Republican, Labor nor Likud. This continues to make us a broad tent that focuses on our mission: supporting Israel and fighting antisemitism. We always educate about the issues and provide resources, but we do not take a position.

Sound Fiscal Management, Measurable Results, And Partnerships

For the last 11 consecutive years, StandWithUs has received the highest possible rankings from Charity Navigator and GuideStar for transparency and use of funds. This puts StandWithUs in the top 3 percent of all U.S. charities. This is significant because there are well over 1 million nonprofits in the United States, both Jewish and non-Jewish. More than 87 percent of our donations go directly into educational programming each year, with less than 13 percent dedicated to administration and fundraising.

We measure our successes by studying our own user analytics and evaluations because it is in everyone’s best interest to make sure that our efforts achieve the highest possible impact. We test and fine-tune educational resources and programs until we reach our goals.

We partner with hundreds of organizations around the world each year to make sure we maximize our precious resources and reach the widest possible audiences.
