WHO & WHY

StandWithUs is convening hundreds of high school students, university students, and community members from around the world for a transformative StandWithUs International Conference.

​

Our theme this year is CHALLENGES, OPPORTUNITIES, and RESILIENCE. We will come together as a community to learn, share, and strategize how to most effectively educate about Israel, counter misinformation, and fight antisemitism as we face unprecedented challenges around the world. This conference invites people of all ages, religions, and backgrounds to connect, exchange ideas, and form a larger, strengthened community. Our focus at this conference is to empower YOU—our grassroots activists, leaders, and strategists—to harness your knowledge and passion for educating the world around you and build up your resilience in the face of adversity.

Why now? There are numerous challenges facing our community, from pervasive antisemitism to disinformation campaigns about Israel, but the opportunities are infinite. We have a chance to positively share Israel’s story and proactively educate people on a global scale. Now more than ever, it is crucial to come together, build resilience, and work for a world free of hate.

 

So, join StandWithUs as we overcome our challenges, embrace our opportunities, and build our resilience in the face of adversity. Let's get to work!

WHEN & WHERE

We are excited to welcome our Emerson Fellows and Kenneth Leventhal Interns to Los Angeles from March 2nd-5th, 2023 for an educational and immersive conference!

​

Community members will be welcomed to the conference for dinner and programming after Shabbat on Saturday, March 4th, and will engage in plenary sessions and breakouts through dinner on Sunday, March 5th.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS
This is a professional conference that respects the highest standards of the StandWithUs community. We will have different backgrounds, religions, and opinions represented, and we are asking all participants to help us maintain an environment of openness and respect. Everyone should have an equal opportunity to share and participate. We’re excited to not only learn from our experts but also learn from each other!
